Anand Panchal was born in 1973 in Latur, Maharashtra. He graduated with a Diploma in Arts (Drawing & Painting) from Abhinav Kala Mahavidhyalaya, Pune and later pursued Diploma in Art Education from the reputed Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai.
Anand’s latest series of works titled ‘Raan’ is an ode to Mother Earth. It is inspired by the village folks, their farmlands and harvest and elements of nature. Together these elements of village life, a cherished part of Anand’s childhood memories, now take centre stage in his compositions. Anand’s artworks also brings out the changes in season and henceforth the changes in the hues and texture of soil. Anand’s works have been part of multiple solo and group shows, for over two and a half decades, and have found appreciation and favour with both Indian and Global Art collectors.
