Monica Sandeep Ghule, a Mumbai-born artist residing in Badlapur, is a skilled painter with a strong educational background, including an M.F.A (Master of Fine Art), Dip.A.Ed., and G.D. Art. Monica's artistic talent has been recognized through various awards, including the prestigious Bendre-Hussain Scholarship for the Bombay Art Society in 2023. Her artworks are deeply personal, reflecting her childhood memories and emotions. In her paintings, Monica captures the essence of sisterhood, a relationship she never experienced firsthand, imagining the bond she might have had. Through her art, she explores the cherished moments of her childhood, emphasising the significance of family and friendship in her life. Monica's work resonates with a sense of longing and nostalgia, portraying the "wow" moments of her youth, contrasting the challenges of adulthood.
