Kamar Alam, the eminent senior visual artist, was born in the picturesque hilly town of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in 1979. His artistic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the renowned College of Arts in New Delhi in 2003, followed by a postgraduate degree (Master of Visual Arts) from Lalit Kala Sansthan, Agra, in 2005.
