Born in 1984 in the sacred city of Gorakhpur, Anil Kumar Yadav is an artist whose creative journey has been deeply influenced by the spiritual essence of India. He pursued a 5-year diploma in painting from Swar Sangam, Birla Academy of Art and Culture in Kolkata, honing his skills and passion for the arts. Anil’s artistic exploration led him to the bustling lanes of Varanasi, where he immersed himself in the city’s divine aura. Spending time by the ghats and within the homes of Varanasi, he absorbed the city’s essence, capturing its unfiltered emotions in his visual compositions.
Anil’s artworks vividly portray the soul of Varanasi, depicting its ancient walls, grand temples, resonating bells, and ornate doors. His creations evoke a profound sense of awe, as if discovering something precious on the streets and doorsteps of Varanasi’s old houses. Through his visual storytelling, Anil captures the vibrant culture of the city, reflecting his deep-rooted fascination with the spiritual intricacies of Hinduism. His choice of colors not only captures the essence of the community but also creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, welcoming viewers into the heart of his artistic vision.
