Reaching out beyond the gallery, cosmic energies and symbolism seem to emanate in Shampa's work as she engages an interplay between the human spirit and earthly lineage.

A child of her environment, Shampa draws inspiration from wide sources of inspiration such as the serene ponds of Bengal, majestic landscapes of Leh and Ladakh or toiling men and women in fields. These influences are deeply rooted in her compositions, providing Shampa Sircar Das Paintings with an essence that invites everyone to connect with the soil and the human mind. Shampa's series, along with Vriksha, Mriga, Gayatri, and the renowned Purush and Prakrit, depict the stories of continuous resonance, emergence, expansion, and dissolution.

Exploring a self-sustaining relationship of human concern with nature, Shampa undertakes the same in her Prakriti (Nature) series as containing feminine power, beautiful, benevolent, fertile, motherly, attractive, full of knowledge, compassion, and desire. In her Purush (Male) series, Shampa reaches into Purusha, the transcendental self. The universal spirit is everywhere; it is eternal, indestructible, and without form. It is an all-pervasive spirit that cannot be divided.

Not only does Shampa's art draw inspiration from Tibetan sacred imagery but also radiates peace that transcends her to empower implicit meanings to abstract levels.
