Experimental sculptor Subrata Paul explores human-nature dynamics, expressing happiness and romance through playful creations featuring his signature material fusion and stitching technique. He earned a DVA in sculpture from AFA, Kolkata (1998) and has received numerous awards, including All India Best Sculpture Awards from Kolkata's Academy of Fine Arts (2006) and AIFACS, New Delhi (2019), and participated in Biennale 2023. His works are found in collections like Birla Academy of Art & Culture and Hotel Lalit, as well as numerous private collections across India and internationally, including Dubai, Texas, and London.
