Monsoon Ride

Pune based artist Somnath Bothe born in 1982 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, is an artist of tremendous talent. He obtained Diploma in Art from Mumbai University (Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune).

Amongst many awards, he has received Gold Medal, Royal Academy, National Level, Gulbarga, Karnataka; Gold Medal, National College Student “Varnika Manav Sanket”, Ujjain Silver Medal, National College Student “Kalawart Nyas”, Ujjain also.

“A deep rooted respect for ‘nature’ and ‘humility’ is the inspiration for my paintings”, says Somnath. Somanth is deeply influenced by his villafe life in early years.  In later years, education and living in city life created new sensitivities and understandings…the blend of these different environments and cultures indirectly flowed in his painting… His paintings are colorful, vibrant, nostalgic at times, and sheer conversational pieces. Subdued and quiet by nature paintings is his language.

Somnath has his own way of showing his creations. His color schemes are modern and flashy but this is intentional, to remind us of the importance of historical places. The fusion of rainy season and historical places in cities and villages constitute the subjects of his paintings.

Taxes and Interntational Duties: 

1. The above costs do not include taxes and custom duties. Indian customers will be able to view taxes being applied,  while making purchase. 
2. However, any international shipping and custom taxes, duties shall be borne by client completely. 

Delivery Timelines:

1. Within India: Within 10 days of order receipt and confirmation approximately 
2. International Shipping: Within 15-20 days for international shipping depending on destination. Please note there might be unprecedented and slight delay from your country's customs

Packaging and Shipping Costs

Within India Shipping: Complimentary shipping offered for rolled artworks in India for orders above INR 1 Lac.  Special packaging costs may apply in case artwork can’t be shipped rolled.

Special Packaging Costs: 

1. All artworks will be shipped in rolled format with safe packaging, unless stated otherwise.
2. Arworks requiring special packaging: Some artworks like framed and artworks, Mix media works and sculptures cannot be shipped rolled and require extra packaging like wooden box packaging to ensure it reached you . The shipping cost will be borne by clients in case of such packaging. 
3. Artazzle team will share special packaging cost as per actuals upon enquiry; cost varies based on factors like destination and weight.
